Just the post below I shared Bethany’s amazing Castle cake, and on my way to upload it for the showcase, I saw her newest creation! Now, you can see from my post–I can make a lamb cake—but mine are nothing in comparison to this cute little slab of mutton!!

I found this amazing cake over at Bethany’s blog while surfing the Entrecard net! I just had to have it! I love it’s color, it’s texture, it’s multi-layer, multi-dimensional awesomeness. I even love the toy dragon that sits next to it. You can find her step by step instructions for this beautiful castle cake by clicking the link. What’s really nice is you can make it for a boy or a girl with just a simple change of color scheme. I love it!

This cool cake is Sally’s Easter Bunny cake, and I think he’s darling! I love anything coconut, so this would be a hit in my book!! I love his whiskers and his bow tie. I call his little heart nose!! You can see another cute Easter idea over at her blog.

When my son turned four we had a birthday party for him at our house. I had never had so many kids over at the same time and the responsibility to run a birthday party, so I invited my 14 year old niece to spend the night and help me out. She had never decorated a cake but wanted to try. So I explained a bit, and she decorated this football cake. Not bad for a first try!

This awesome cake was submitted by Kelly Anne of SansomFamily.com. It’s perfect enough that it actually looks like you could put the ‘Mouse Ears’ on your head and stroll through Tomorrow Land. You’d be surprised at just what her inspiration was, very clever indeed. You can find step by step instructions including photo’s by clicking HERE.
