Missing My Cakes!!

Are you as bored as I am with that Easter Basket cake over there in the right sidebar? Yes, it was the cake of the month in March, but I haven’t found anything inspiring to do for April–plus after the rush of Easter, I wasn’t really in the “Cake” mood! But that has changed! Today, I have been itching to try something fun and new.
Do you guys watch The Ace Of Cakes, with Duff Goldman?? The girls on that show are masters with piping. That is one area I’ve never excelled. I did find some of my favorite fonts on my photo editor and printed out page after page of the alphabet in each font. I’m going to put a plastic page over the printout and practice piping words. The other area that I want to learn is piping lace and stringing. So that will come soon too, but for the cake of the month, I want to make a Cinderella’s coach cake. You know with the ball pan! Cover it with white fondant and pearl dust to make it iridescent. I haven’t figured out what to create the the lower coach and wheels from for this cake, but when I do–you will see it over there in the cake of the month!!
