Easter Spells C.A.K.E.S!!

For Easter I had nearly a dozen cakes to make and get out. Most of them were this cute little lamb for my husbands restaurant. They turned out pretty cute–but honestly, I’ve never frosted anything so easy. You bake the cake in a shaped pan—slather on frosting and shower him in coconut. Black jelly bean eyes and a pink jelly bean nose followed by a real ribbon bow. They turned out pretty cute!
Because I was rushed to meet my deadline, I did not snap a picture of any of the cakes that went out on Saturday, so these are from my husbands buffet. The person taking the pictures didn’t realize the camera was set to black and white–so all of my close ups are not in color–but there are some far shots that are.

Those lambies are adorable, but I’m in love that Mr. Bunny there. I think he wants to come home with me.
I like the stand up lambs a lot. That’s the pan that my MIL has. My husband likes my lay down one better though, he thinks the stand up ones look like dogs. But he’s weird like that.

I agree with Bethany. The lambs remind me of little fluffy white puppies and I just want to cuddle with one. But the bunnies, well the bunnies are darling. It’s funny to sit in my hotel room writing to you on your lap top when I could drive 5 minuets and tell you in person. See you tomorrow honey, Love you, LM
