March 6th–Basketball!!

Like I mentioned in the previous post…we went to see Kirk Heinrich, the captain of the Chicago Bulls. He was doing a signing in the area so we took the kids over and got a few autographs. You’d think that would be why I chose a basketball as the Cupcake A Day, but amazingly enough…I have a calendar written out with ideas for different days. If I can’t think of something, I will consult the calendar. Well, tonight was one of those times, and a basketball is what was listed. What makes this great (besides the basketball centered evening) if you look at my father in laws birthday cake, Archie has orange hair and is outlined in black. That’s right! I didn’t even have to color more buttercream, or refill the piping bags. Talk about a great coincidence!!
